For some reason during 2022 my Xbox one S controller light stopped turning on (It still works but the light doesn't stay on , it only turns on when the batteries are dead and it makes a kinda sizzling sound, when I don't use the controller it cools back down.) and my D-pad everytime I put batteries in it overheats but the batteries are Duracell power boost last longing but then they die after about like a few hours because of the controller D-pad overheating and I tried getting in contact with Microsoft but I couldn't call them it just gave me instructions to the website, I wanna find out if there is a problem to solve this because it will not stop no matter what batteries I use they die after a while.

@cold cradle my serial number has been scratched out on my controller so what should I do, if there's nothing else I can do I'll just buy a new controller
