Interesting. I do know that one EA play subscription is free with the game pass, but a separate one we have to pay for, like Ubisoft+. Maybe it's something you need to actually bring up directly with EA?

If it’s not showing you have an active gp subscription, then you won’t have ea play also. Contact official support to account/billing issues.
