#my controller turns off and i don’t know why
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Your controller needs to be plugged into the console directly using a USB cable that has both power and data lines. If you're plugged into the console, then you're using a USB cable with only power lines, no data (meaning the controller is still communicating wirelessly to the console).
i’m using the same wire that i use to plug in my rechargeable battery port by venom i thought that’d work fine
but it’s nothing to do with the wire because even when my controller is full charge and i use the battery it does the same thing
As I said, it's power lines only, not data lines.
The controller is communicating with the console wirelessly, so it will turn off after 15 minutes of idle time, period.
The easiest way is to use something like a phone and connect it to a PC and see if your PC recognizes it to access the phone's storage, or if the phone just charges.
i’ll just have to buy a new one ig i don’t have a pc
but thank you i couldn’t find a solution anywhere at all been waiting for months for something about it
On Amazon, you're looking for a "data sync" cable
if the listing says that, it will have the data lines connected
and which usb is it to fit in the controller port i don’t remember
series
USB-C
