headset issues

I had bought a headset for my Xbox I plugged it in and played like any other time but when I went to bed and woke up to play some games with friends before work my headset now connects but there’s no audio, I can talk but there’s just simply no audio I don’t see anything broken anywhere and all my audio settings are the same plus when I plugged in my old headset that one didn’t work and that one always worked the microphone was just bad any tips are greatly appreciated

I have the xbox wireless headset and today when I was playing a game it suddenly stopped playing the sound from the game so I just pressed the home button on the controller and pressed “home” on the side panel and then pressed the home button again and went back on the game and the audio was fixed.
