So my gamer tag shows my real name (guessing it was because of my email) and i dont want people to know my real name i tried changing my gamertag but its asking for 10 dollars... 10 DOLLARS TO CHANGE MY GAMER TAG???!!!! someone help me out here

You only get one free change in your accounts life. After that, it costs 10 dollars. Nobody here can help you as there's no way to bypass that.

If your gamertag is set to your real name it's because you chose that, gamertags don't get set based on your email address.
