I recently picked up a new xbox one s from a friend and upon booting it I recieved E101. I replaced the hard drive since I could hear it had failed (rapid clicks, slight grinding) with a new WD blue 1TB drive. I am now getting E106, even after partitioning the harddrive correctly.
I'm not sure if I'm missing something here or not but some advice would be helpful.
