On 2 xboxes and 2 different pc/laptop this issue is. I used to be able to stream to my laptop to play any games say if I was on holiday now it just comes up with error. Xbox on the PC is connected via a hdmi on the laptop the xbox is on wireless. All it says on both PC and laptop is "Unable to stream because either the Xbox app or your console needs to be updated. Make sure they are both up to date and try again" and on PC it now keeps not wanting to reconnect all together. (All are fully updated I checked that one.)

As long ur laptop and xbox is connected to wifi it should be able to stream wireless

Just make sure on the xbox app on laptop that it could see ur xbox
