I have this fully charged battery pack that uses USB c. It works on everything but when I use it on my Xbox controller it doesn't.

if that isnt what you have then it will not charge in a xbox controller

you need a play and charge Kit
The one a linked above will charge in the controller or you can buy 3rd party ones that come with there own charging dock. Or just use normal

You can also use rechargeable batteries but you need a Dock to charge them or just the every day batteries
