ive literally tried everything that people told me to do: update drivers, restart computer, redownload forza 5, redownload xbox, and i have the correct specs to play the game too but the game keeps on closing on startup

you need too restart your PC for the driver too take effect fully

you likley should have done that when you reinstalled gaming services too. Rule 1 on PC is always restart after installing things like that

no not a single error. i run it. it opens. it closes 💀
also on geforce experience when i try to open forza 5 from there it says "unable to retrieve settings. try again later" idk if that helps

the thing with starting the game from G force will not be linked thats because how the app is handling things and how the xbox app/microsoft works that happens on AMD
