I just got back from vacation and tried re-connecting my Xbox 1s to the internet and it wont, and it will commonly give me this "Additonal Authentication Needed", saying "To connect to this network, you'll need to enter additional authentication info. If you have an alternate MAC address, choose Enter alternate MAC address." with Authenticate Now and Enter Alternate MAC Address as the options. I already tried fixing it and tried searching up how to fix it, but I can't seem to get it to work. Any solutions?

your Network your trying too connect too needs Additonal Authentication because if how its set up you need to talk to the network provider these are common in places like hotels cafes schools (public hotspots) where it needs a log in

Well the internet setup didn't get changed and it's usually just where I have to enter my password for it and I get connected, but I didn't get it changed and my parents kept it the same, we're all having the same issues, but the only thing is that only a few things will work without the internet, like Youtube, Netflix, Discord and more stuff like certain games. So it's not how it's setup I believe.

if other people and devices are having the same issue that would support what i mentioned. Reset your router and talk too your provider
