it just says pending and will not install. When I use the powershell commands to uninstall is it does not do anything, yet when i launch xbox app and try to play games it tells me i need to download gaming services. I just bought ultimate and i want to be able to use it, not be ripped off.

Had the same problem, it only downloaded when my xbox was off though, however. The issue was resolved like a day later. But at the time i just kept restarting my xbox and unplugged it.
