This has been happening for 4 days now. I am trying to connect to Wi-Fi I put my password in and it’s correct tries to test connection and I get to turn off my router or it’s filtering out my MAC address I really need help I’m getting to point where I’m about to smash my Xbox to bits

so whats eactly the issue when you enter in the password for your Wifi.

have you tried restarting it

by holding down the Xbox button then pressing restart

I have multiple times I’ve called my network provider they said my Wi-Fi is up and running no problem

The password works fine when it tries to establish connection it doesn’t work

how do you know its filltering your MAC have you set that up on your router yourself

It’s say when I get the troubleshoot thing it says it’s filtering out my MAC address

if the router is turning off that is a bad router and it needs replacing your router should never turn off. on its own.

It doesn’t turn off my it’s self at all that’s the thing I don’t know anymore

you mean you restarted it its not turning off?

It’s says to turn it off for 30 seconds and it says both things

I'm not really too sure what your issue is exactly but my advise since its clearly a network issue is to read though that page in detail. Or connect support other than that there isnt much more we can say here unless you give us something to go on.
