#Cannot play on 120 fps when my refresh rate has been set to 120hz
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I looked at this and followed the steps but nothing happened
Do I have to have 4k on?
Tried going in the game, might just be locked to 60 in lobby even after change
Don’t think so, just is there for the guide
I did but it was stuck at 60fps
if you are wondering my monitor is a Tuf Gaming VG247QR1A
If the option isn’t actually working, a cold reboot of the console might help
Ok I'll try that. Is it the same as restarting the console or is it something different?
Restarting it fully
Alright thanks for the help
Hi I just looked up on the internet and my monitor is currently running 119.84 hz and not 120hz so I will not be able to run 120fps. Apparently this is a big issue for xbox consoles and there is not much to get around it.
Hi I tried everything you said but nothing is working
It sounds like you found your answer though
so there is nothing can I do?
I have no idea. It sounded like you found the information that said it’s not possible with your monitor.
or its capable of 120 over DP not HDMI
I just found out that the one s cannot run 120 fps💀
I mean that’s not true in a general sense, plenty of games support 120fps on Series S
I don’t know about Fortnite personally though
no I was talking about the one s
Oh then that’s definitely true
ig ill get the series s to run 120fps
You said series s originally so that’s why I gave you steps (that ofc didn’t help)
