Hello! I have been using the stream feature on xbox for a while now, and I decided to hook up my headphones that have a built in microphone to the controller so i can talk during my streams. For some reason, the microphone never sends audio. I know the microphone works because I call friends and chat regularly with it. I know that it is properly connected because I have audio coming through. I would appreciate help! I am using Xbox Series S.

make sure it is plugged in all the way on the controller.

yes, it could work even when not plugged in correctly
