i plug in my controller into my pc and it doesn't connect to my pc but it was working 10 minutes ago and now it doesn't. I plug the usb into my controller and it vibrates but doesn't connect and work.

before i had the latest xbox controller update and i have all the usb updates to the latest and nothing works, please help.

and it doesn't show up as a device on device manager

check your cable. you need a power and data cable to use the controller with USB. from the description of your issue, you may have a power only cable or a bad cable.
