Hey everyone, I’m in desperate need of some help right now. So my dad has had his email tied to my Microsoft account for about 10 years now and now that I have my own email and payment now I want to start paying for my Xbox live.  But the thing is whenever I try to change it, it changes his Microsoft account so I’m trying to figure out. How do I make my own Microsoft account so it doesn’t mess with him but for me to still have all of my data with my games and achievements.

You can't transfer stuff to a new account. You either have to keep using his email or start over from scratch with a new account. The only other thing you can do only works if you live together.

I see, thank you for the help at least. Cant do the living together one as my parents are divorced, and my dad lives three states away
But I appreciate the help
