I just got a used xbox 1 s and it needs a console update to go online. It's been 30+ minutes and it has not gone over 1-2%. I have tried restarting the xbox but nothing has been working. The update is only 4.6 GB. I have enough space on the xbox as well.

im not able to as i dont have a usb drive

there is no error code

the xbox is just taking a long time to update for some reason

its been at 2% for the past 3 hours i feel like that should be concerning

So you've rebooted the console, rebooted your router, you're using a wired connection?

i have rebooted the console, not the router, and am not using a wired connection

i just hooked up a wired connection and it got to the download page, got to 2%, and then got stuck on a grey screen
