xbox series x controller problem

Hello, I have a question, does anyone know why the xbox series x controller does not turn on? If I connect it by cable to the PC it works perfectly but if I want to connect it wirelessly, the light is only blinking when I press the pairing or power button, but without connecting

Controller doesn’t turn on or doesn’t pair? Because you stated both, might be obvious but you can’t pair if it’s off…
