#Xbox Controller Randomly Disconnects and Won’t Reconnect Even When Plugged In.

The controller is a model #1914 and is practically brand new(it’s one of the carbon black ones). The issue is that it will randomly stop working, but the way it stops working is very strange. The Xbox logo stays on and lit but the controller stops relaying input to the console. I’ve tried updating the controller and the problem persists. I have even tried to plug the controller into the Xbox itself and even then it won’t work. After a couple of hours I can usually turn it on and it will work as normal but when it chooses to stop working is completely random.

I can’t seem to find any helpful tips online and so I have come here for help to try and get my controller working.

Dude… yes I know how to properly connect a Xbox controller to an Xbox 😐. That’s not the issue. The issue is the controller is connected and works fine and then after a period of time the Xbox light on the controller stays on but none of the buttons relay back to the Xbox
