You mean can you use the phone charger for the controller? Not the console itself?
@twin venture yes
Then yes, you can power the controller with it.
Cuz there is someone told that i need a charging cable support data transfare
Is that true?
By the way i dont know if my cable support this
That's more for XB1 controllers with micro-USB. Series controller is USB-C so you should be fine.
Yaaaay thank you so much
And can i use the controller without batteries
Just plug in the charger?
Yes
Just remember that if you do want to use batteries or a battery pack, only the official Xbox Play and Charge kit will charge via that USB port. AA batteries and third party battery packs won’t charge that way.
Thanks and im not gonna use any batteries
Just the cable
And what is xbox play?
Oh okay :)
Im gonna use cable only
So here's the thing - if you are using a USB cable that is not directly connected to the console, it will definitely charge. However, it will not automatically stay on if you leave it idle for 10 minutes, I think it only does that when directly connected to a console.
Um
That means if i leave the controller idle when its connected to the console with the cable will turn off?
And thats also means i cant use mouse and keyboard and headphones at the same time?
Be cause the headphone are connected to the controller and the cortroller will turn off
If you need more USB ports you can use a USB hub. Otherwise, yes, if your controller is not directly attached to the console it will turn off when idle, i believe. You can always test it yourself.
i dont have xbox series s at that time 😅
Alright thanks for your help :)
