#xbox 360 issue update on disc

Either the disc is damaged, or your drive is failing
how is it damaged if it read it fully
Wait, sorry, I'm thinking of possibly the wrong thing. What kind of disc are you trying to update with?

You didn't burn the disc correctly
dang it third disc i screwed up
The contents of the zip file should have a single folder named $SystemUpdate, and a file named default.xex. You have a folder there named $SystemUpdate - Copy
i cant copy the files to not have to download it ten times for each disc
It's naming the folder with a " - Copy" at the end because you have multiple versions in the same folder
You need to download the zip file, which I assume you've done. But rather than extracting it, just open it so you can see the contents, and drag them directly into a new blank CD
and then burn that
