I’ve had this external storage for a few months and never had any issue out of it now my Xbox won’t read it so I’ve lost all the games I had on it someone please help

full turn off your xbox, unplug it, unplug the usb cable from your external drive (and power if that's seperate) then reconnect everything
it is possible for a drive to just get confused and need a reboot like that.
it is also possible for a drive to die. When it does that's not the end of the world though, ebcuase your game & dlc purcahses and your game saves/progress are stored in the cloud. You can always redownload the game files
