so my controller wont turn on after taking it apart

i took apart my controller to change thumbstucks using a tork security screwdriver. i have a series s controller and i swapped the series s thumbstick with an xbox one thumbstick. i put the controller back together and the batteries are in but it wont turn on, anyone know? i searched the web and couldnt find anything
