Are you sure the game ur trying to play is backwards compatible?
The solution that I found so far is to free up a little bit of space on the internal drive. Apparently the Xbox likes to use that to make sure that it can create temporary files and such for the virtual Xbox 360 that it has to boot up. Additionally, make sure there's a little bit of free space on the specific drive the games are installed to, just to make sure there's space for temporary files there as well
found this online, hope it can help maybe?
Make sure your console is up-to-date with the latest system updates.
Clear your console’s cache.
Uninstall and reinstall the game.
Try launching the game while offline.
@dark badge this is as much as I can find as it seems alot of people are getting that error message for 360 games
I suppose you are right.
Afterall I’m on an Xbox Series S using a extender storage.
I can switch my games which are Xbox one/X|S to my extender storage only 1 or so and see how it goes.
If it does work then thank you.
Pretty much the xbox one needs to install something in on itself to run the 360 games, so a seperate runner if that makes sense
K
It could just be as simple as there aint enough space on ur xbox
I’m moving a game which is 62GB from internal storage to extender storage.
No I have enough storage on my extender storage is just my internal once the game is done moving to my extender storage I can move my Xbox original (2001) game to my internal storage.
