Xbox Series S audio output

Does anyone know how I can make my game audio come through my headset? I’ve tried the setting where it mutes sound from the tv when headset is connected, but that only works for the microphone when I’m in a in game party talking with people, therefore the game sound still comes out of my tv, but their mic sound comes to my headset.

I’ve tried, but my chat mixer “rate” is grayed out, I’ve tried switching the setting to “do nothing” but in the guide select when you press the volume button on the bottom, it’s grayed out.

Make sure your audio jack is fully in. If the controller see the jack as mono, it’s party chat only.

It even makes a click sound

How many black lines are on the plug. There can be 1 to 4. For example this picture shows 2 and 1

But they are white

Ohh I think I get why

The right channel is actually broken so It no sound comes out of it
