I had a GTA 5 disc and when put in it kept saying error and that “disc may be dirty or damaged” message pop up - the disc is fine and works on everyone else’s XBOX but mine. But it isn’t to do with the xbox disc input itself as I thought as I got a new Call of Duty disc today and it’s not damaged AT ALL. Works in everyone’s else’s xbox AND mine - I played it for a bit and it was all good but I had turned my xbox off so took the disc out and I went to put it back in a hour or less later and it now says ‘disc may be damaged or dirty’ etc - the disc is completely fine! Please help.

Your xbox may have a broken disc drive, unfortunately it’s not much you can do if that’s the case
sounds like the disc drive is failing/failed and needs sending too Microsoft for repairing
I assumed they had xbox one family judging by the tag, thus not giving that option
My brother has a newer xbox not quite sure which and it worked for his - sorry i forgot to mention that!!
But you have an Xbox one right?
Yeah! :))
Yeah so my message applies from earlier
