My brother's xbox is not working. Turning it on and off will not work. There are no available updates either. The problem is when he turned it on and tried to go on a game all it says is "Sorry we cannot launch this The item you are trying to use appears to be corrupt. Try unistalling it then reinstalling." He went on to his games and apps it says he has all his games but they ALL say the same thing. He tried Youtube but even though it's already installed it says Not ready yet YouTube needs to finish installing or show 'Ready to start' before you can launch it". The weirdest thing is his storage, it says below All storage it says 0.0GB free and 0.0% used. In settings > storage devices 0.0GB free of 0.0GB. Formatted for games and apps. Inside the circle it says "NaN%". And when trying to install a game nothing happens. Has this happened to anyone, or does anyone know how to fix it?

you could try do a offline update via the troubleshoot menu
if you want formating to be the last resort
you will need a pc and a usb though
if the console is older then 4 years I could suspect a failing hard drive but maybe its a software related issue?

you can download the update on your phone but you will still need to transfer the download file to your usb drive and you probably need a usb adapter for your phone

this will greatly help in identifying the issue , you dont have to provide the full Error code just the first 3 numbers before the rest of the numbers

then the issue can be either a failing hard drive ( mostly a E106 error ) but it has to be a software related issue and it can mostly only be fixed by doing an offline update , try using the troubleshooter
