when i'm downloading a game i want to play a game while it's downloading but it stops it from downloading it wasn't doing that before

Xbox one i tries multiple games to see if it was only for one game but it's for all and i have researched, i found nothing

But why it wasn’t doing it before?
And for me it doesn’t slow it

Why is several, main reason is performance. HDD is a disk, game you’re playing is installed in one area of the disk, the game downloading is installing in a new area.

Also when you play while downloading a game, the console will prioritize your game experience and will slow down the download, specifically if you are in a multiplayer game.
