So my Minecraft disc just doesn't work and someone said to go to the Minecraft official website for a code to redeem so I can play Minecraft but I can't find the code

If the disc is not working, what message are you getting when you try to launch the game?

Well, then it seems like there you have it. The disc is damaged. Try wiping it with a soft cloth carefully and try again.

What people told you about getting a code is to buy a new digital copy of the game. You don't automatically get a code with the disc.
