#Can't login to Xbox PC account (using gmail address)

  1. What is your issue? Be specific.
    My Game Pass renewed without my knowing so I wanted to cancel it but I can't manage to login. I created the account with a gmail address and when I want to login on the xbox website, It askes me for a code in my mail and when I submit it, it brings me back to the login page.

  2. What troubleshooting have you tried? Please list everything you have attempted.
    -> I restarted the browser.
    -> I cleared the cache.
    -> I checked for errors and find a failed POST request to https://login.microsoftonline.com/consumers/oauth2/v2.0/token with an error message: "The user could not be authenticated or user interaction is required. The user must sign in again and if needed grant the client application access to the requested scope."

  3. Have you researched your issue on the internet? If so, what results have you seen and tried?
    Yes, found nothing.

if your getting the code sent too your email then its the right email address. I would make sure your entering the code (dont copy and paste it as this can add a space) it will also be caps sensitive. If its just taking you back to the log in page then that will be something your doing or some setting out of klit on your browser. I would also try a other browser and make sure its updated and you dont have anything that would be blocking it

Other than that you likely need too cantact support to cancel it or cancel the card with your bank

You should definitely contact official customer support because that’s the kind of account-related issue no one here would be able to fix.

At least you are getting the codes so your account hasn’t been stolen…

the support site shoudl note that you can create a temporary microsoft account to work with support when you don't have access to your main one.
