on 16/04/2023 I bought the xbox game pass package (regular) and upgraded it to xbox game pass ultimate and it charged 54.99 from my account and the money was supposed to be converted, I lost some money and I don't know what to do in this situation.

as far as I know, after changing the plan to a higher one, I had to pay only the difference resulting from the first package.

If you have regular Game Pass and then pay for Ultimate, or apply a code for Ultimate, then it upgrades your account and converts your existing time at no extra cost.

On April 16, I paid PLN 40 for a regular game pass, but after 5 days I bought an xbox game pass, I lost PLN 54.99 from the account, it was supposed to convert and download less from the account and it charged for both packages.

That's supposed to happen. You pay for Ultimate and then it converts any existing time you have to Ultimate. It sounds like you paid either for 1 or 3 months of Ultimate (I don't know what the currency conversion is for PLN).
If regular Game Pass was 40, then it sounds like one month of Ultimate for the 54.99.
If you check your account, you should have Game Pass Ultimate for however many months of regular Game Pass you had stacked, plus one.
So if you paid for 1 month of Game Pass, then 1 month of Game Pass Ultimate, you'll now have 2 months of Ultimate.
