I just bought a series x and hooked it up to my monitor and every now and then I get these green lines across the screen. I have a picture of it but im unsure how to post it in here.

You can use an image sharing site like Imgur.com

But have you tried a different cable? Lines on hdmi signals are often interference or poor signal quality

I’m using the same hdmi I got out of the box with the Xbox

okay, I'll assume that means "no" since you ignored the question, lol

try unplugging the cable, turning it around, and reconnecting the ends
try a different port on your tv
try a different hdmi cable
