I changed a setting and my console asked to restart itself. While I would typically expect a restart to be fast, this took far longer than it should. Given that I've also had the recurrent problem we talked about before where sometimes the video output just doesn't show on the monitor, do I have a problem Series X here?

It's just very confusing, that's what. If it needs attention, I would want to get it in before the warranty expires.

#

Additionally, now it seems not not want to go online right at the moment. I'm using a wired, ethernet connection. This is starting to seem like I got a problem. 😢

#

Trying another restart to see if the connection will come back.

#

Yeahno. Can't get any connection... hmm.

Did you try the factory reset I mentioned the other Day?

TBH I didn't try a reset yet Paul. I'm thinking I will. You can leave installed games intact, right?

#

Also it says it is connected to the internet at the same time it says it's offline, I'm like "Wut"

Do you know if the Series X ethernet port has the two flashing activity lights that some network ports do? Because if it's supposed to, mine does not.

no? Mine doesn't have that

#

do you mean on the end that goes into the router not the xbox?

#

Because your router may have that, but not all do and it only be when data is transferring

I panic, OK. 😅

#

OK OK, looks like Factory Reset fixed it.
Sorry for making you deal with my panic.

I think I've already had the good luck though if this happens again I'm going to get serious about it.
