Please state the following clearly if you are seeking support:

  1. What is your issue? Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
  2. What troubleshooting have you tried? Please list everything you have attempted.
  3. Have you researched your issue on the internet? If so, what results have you seen and tried?
  4. If no to 2 and/or 3, please start there.

If you do not provide answers to all of these questions, you are not likely to receive a response.

Like when its not connected to HDMI or A/V

runic nacelle
#

it could be a A/V issue but you still havent said what the issue is ecalxtly

#

So it says RDOD on the screen ? I dont think so some how

eternal pawn
#

not HDMI no AV

runic nacelle
#

then plug it into the tv? It anit going to work otherwise

eternal pawn
#

i thought it wasnt gonna work because it had some GPU issues or fan was not working properly because the fan kept turning off all of a sudden

runic nacelle
#

You need to explain the issue is it that the TV says no signal ? What exactly is the issue?

eternal pawn
#

the fan stops all of a sudden when i turn on the xbox
no HDMI connected
it wasnt connected to the TV
it was just connected to the POwer brick and the transformer
it kept giving me the RDOD and when it dose appere it makes the fan stop and not hearing the fan other wise
also it was not giviing me a code when i press the disc eject/insert button.

these are all the things ive observed while testing the consol itself it there is not the issue in the tings ive typed in then ive no more questions to ask

Thank you for helping me in the fixing the problem

You said its not connected too the TV - what do you mean by that because if the HDMI OR AV cable is not connected then yes its going to give you a issue and not work. Why is the cable not connected?

#

connect the cable

eternal pawn
#

SO i plugged it in the TV throught HDMI and it didnt detect the consol

runic nacelle
#

what shows on the TV ?

eternal pawn
#

It should have read it once i connected it

runic nacelle
#

okay have you checked that your TV is set to the HDMI 1 source?

eternal pawn
#

yes

runic nacelle
#

Is there any lights on the console around the power button at all?

eternal pawn
#

yes it turned red

runic nacelle
#

how many red lights are there in the circle around the power button

eternal pawn
#

the whole circle is red

runic nacelle
#

can you test the HDMI cable on a other deceive or try a different HDMI cable on the xbox ?

eternal pawn
#

the HDMI's i had used were in perfect condition also was using it on two tv's

#

i tried using on the first TV ididnt work
then the second one ididnt work again

#

it was not reading it

runic nacelle
#

so you tried the HDMI cable on a other device that isnt the xbox and it didnt work?

eternal pawn
#

yes

runic nacelle
#

so its a bad cable and that needs replacing so you have a other HDMI cable?

eternal pawn
#

no its either the hardware its self or The ports for the HDMI are corroded

runic nacelle
#

I asked you if you tried the cable on a other device that isnt the xbox and you said yes it didnt work- its the cable

#

Either your not giving the right answers or you are and the cable needs replacing if it doesn't work on the xbox and on a other device then how can this be the xbox when the cable isnt working

#

in any case I would advise on replacing the cable.

eternal pawn
#

ok
