Hello. My name is andy. And ive got a massive problem with my xbox. Anytime I try to install any game or app. It will not let it install. AT ALL. It will always give me a installation stopped thing multiple timss in a row. Please help me. Im at my wits end.

What is your issue? Be specific. If your issue is with an Xbox console, please include which model and what your OS version is, as well as if you are in an Xbox Insider Program ring. If your issue is on PC, please include relevant versions (Windows version, any version information for specific apps in question, etc).
What troubleshooting have you tried? Please list everything you have attempted.
Have you researched your issue on the internet? If so, what results have you seen and tried?
If no to 2 and/or 3, please start there.

Issue: Installation stopped bug error.
Ive tried multiple guides on how to fix this issue.

all games fail?
are you installing to the internal or to an external hard drive?
have you factory reset your xbox?

Every time i try to start an install it gives me an installation stopped error for mutiple games.

Everything is mostly digital.

#

Not all games tho.

I may just have to do a factory reset on my console. Idk yo.

Its like stopping addons to old games for black ops 1 and 2, Cult of The Lamb, Minecraft, PowerWash sim, Prey, Minecraft preview, Among us, and the New Minecraft legends.

if literally nothing will install, I'd do a factory reset first. if that doesn't fix it, I'd try installing to an external hard drive. THat would help identify if your console hard drive is dying

your purchases are tied to your account, not to the specific xbox. you don't lose game progress or game purchases when you reset.

Im moving what i had from my internal storage to my external storage now. So ill see if that fixed the issue. If not, ill see if i cna get a trade in or something.
