I’ve tried clear persistent storage, I’ve powercycled. It’s so annoying hearing the little ding every 5 seconds because they’re isn’t a disc in it to eject. It ejects the discs then takes it back in the ejects it again. It’s like a ghost keeps pressing the eject button.
#my Xbox keeps ejecting discs on its own and it keeps playing the eject noise even when it’s off.

Sounds a lot more like a hardware failure than a software issue
i assume all the xbox One devices are long out of warranty at this point, so replacing it might be your option
you could always just doubel check that nothing is stuck in it by using the manual eject feature: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/console/manually-eject-disc
