My xbox series x controller doesn't start the sync/flashing mode, I'm not on xbox so please don't tell me fixes that work on console, I'm using a pc.

Probably should use the pc tag instead on the xbox tag.
But the Xbox logo is a solid light? Do you have the controller connected with the USB cable?

If that’s you in the gif. It’s in pairing mode when you picked up, then held the button and enter Bluetooth mode. It wouldn’t change mode again until you release the button and hold again. If it controller isn’t connecting, sounds like whatever adapter you’re using.

Check if the adapter has any drivers. Can you give the name/model of the adapter?
