xbox one a controller wont connect, sync button doesnt work

my xbox one s controller wont connect to my console. i tried the troubleshooting method to no results.
when i try connecting it it blinks like normal but it doesn't connect to the console at all. i checked if it is paired to any other devices, it is not.
when i try using the sync button it just turns off the controller
need help asap please

Try a wired connection
Try the controller on a other device
Replace the controller

im using a rechargeable battery and it is plugged in. tried it on a diffrent device, it wont even show up in the bluetooth devices seeking
