No. You can change the resolution of your console, but you cannot change game resolutions up or down.
I saw a video on youtube that confused me. Are you sure?
It had equivalent graphic cards. For pc
Some games offer a performance or quality setting, but no resolution
please share the link to this "youtube video"
I don't know. What does Google tell you>?
Google tells me all games let you change resolution within the game
Chatgpt
Thats what chatgpt says
ChatGPT is not a Google search
Its better
I'm sure it is.
Are you going to share this video that you have of someone changing the resolution of RDR2 on their Xbox?
No they change it on pc to match different resolutions of xbox. Ill give u name. Discore is on phine
THis all comes back to the initial question: WHy do you want to know if you can change the resolution of RDR2 or Elden Ring
...
The resolution the Xbox runs at is whatever your monitor is.
I think you're confusing resolution with graphical quality
Xbox settings doesnt change resolution. Just does super sampling on native.
Am not tech savvy
That's fine, you don't need to be tech savvy. I'm trying to understand what you're trying to accomplish
RDR2 people kept asking why its not a higher framerate on current-gen consoles. it literally just runs the same as whatever the Xbox One version did. which was 30fps, everything else is PC and even Stadia you could change res. not console.
Does red dead 2 have resolution mode and performance mode on xbox one x?
@sweet inlet I dont have 4k tv
You don't need a 4K TV
Does red dead 2 have performance mode?
No idea, never played it.
Never played it, not my type of game.
Red dead is the most expensive game. If they dont do it. No one else will
Um. No.
There are many games which offer performance and visual modes.
Example?
Forza Horizon 5
Have you played witcher 3?
No.
What is it exactly that you are trying to accomplish? You've asked about changing resolution of games, you've asked about performance mode of random games. What are you trying to do?
This feels more like you're just asking questions that can be googled rather than asking for support with something specific
I cant find answer on google. Or digital foundry. Everyone likes to boast 4k
yes because One X release "Enhanced" titles which put out 4K resolution.
If they say 4k. Because maybe theyll get on microsofts good side
No
Anyways thanks. If you any other game to check tell me
