Getting a full ATX motherboard over micro is because most modern graphics cards are at least 1.5-2.5 slots, rendering the slot below it on a micro ATX unusable, and effectively limiting you to no free pci slots. If you find yourself needing to attach a Bluetooth adapter or capture card or Wi-Fi receiver or anything else to your motherboard, guess what- you’re buying a whole new motherboard with more slots.
If you feel like adventuring into the world of overclocking ram, stick with the DDR 4-3000 ram they gave you because ryzen CPUs have a large speed scaling effect with ram. If you don’t, get mine, because little known fact about ram, they all run at the generational baseline (DDR4 being 2133mhz) unless you overclock them. So if you buy that ram instead of my ram and don’t overclock it, you’ll literally be wasting money because it will run the exact same.
Now, storage. You don’t want your entire system to run off of a single 1TB SSD. SSDs have a limited lifespan which is reduced the more you put on it and make it deal with, which is why (and you’ll see this when you format it) you’ll need to partition it. So say you do the safe 15% partition, and subtract the system OS and all that stuff, you’re actually dealing with a 750-800gb SSD that will last you around 3-6 years. I went with an M.2 250GB SSD that you can load with system and partition down to about 160-190gb to have a lightning fast boot and enough space for 3 or 4 of your favorite games, then a 2TB HDD in the fastest configuration you can get hard drives right now for everything you could ever want, and combined they cost less than that single 1TB 2.5” SSD
This power supply is 650W 80+ gold (and has a little bit of RGB for extra flex 👀). This is a very high quality power supply that theoretically you will never have to upgrade.
Standard Win10 because pro is just a bunch of business and security tools that you will never use.
Cougar case because their cases are very spacious and lack all the useless optical drive bays that like... nobody ever uses + they’re very stylish. I have 2 big cougar panzer cases for my own setup.
Now. Here’s the last part. The GPU.
I rung up an RTX 2060. I built the entire PC before selecting this part, then went with the best GPU I could put in it and keep it under $1000. This is ASUS’s dual evo model for the 2060. It’s a newer model than the strix series and very high quality. This GPU will last you a very long time if you keep your vision humble. That 1650 only has 4GB VRAM. Good luck in 2022. This has double that and will hold your satisfaction probably forever if you’re a casual gamer
This PC is mid-range with a little bit of future proofing to make sure that 3 years from now you don’t go man, I wish I had spent just a little more

As for expansion I have managed a wifi card but if you want more drives go ATX

Is there a way to install 'Xbox Console Companion' via Powershell? Microsoft Store seems to be doing absolutely nothing right now, and for some reason i can't play Forza without the console companion app connected to the internet.

@sweet cradle No the Xbox app on Windows 10 either lets you stream your local Xbox One console (the console companion app) or if you mean the Xbox (beta) app, that's downloading PC games and playing them on your PC, not console games

honestly, try running with a game for a bit with the front plastic off, that's killing a good amount of airflow
have the side panel on, but just the front plastic off, and see what your GPU temps do

So fans are dead. Thing self shutdown cause it got too hot. Afterburner and zotacs own gtx controller app didn't make em spin. Both programs were also being told the fans were spinning when they weren't.
So now I gotta rma it to zotac because the store I got it from has no more and im outta money to get a close card cause sales are over

i know a lot of people flash their RX400 line of cards to 500 for a minor performance boost because theyre literally just refreshes
although i also know the VRMs on 500 series are usually a little more beefy to compensate for extra power used to amp clocks
i have a 6 pin RX460 that i could probably very easily flash to its 500 equivelant but i can easily just overclock it if i want some extra juice
but yeah flashing vBIOS can be risky unless you seriously know what youre doing
and if you do end up bricking your card with a failed flash its likely the RMA will be rejected leaving you with a dead card and how ever much out of pocket

and that's triple VGA 8 pins for 450 watts, not including whatever else you can get with overcurrent from the 8 pins baseline of 150 and the PCIE slots power
i know on more enterprise level cards such as the ones you work wjth they just flat out use EPS connectors rather than PCIE/VGA connectors as they can easily go over 300 watts
rather use a single connecter that can do 390 without overcurrent than 2 or 3 to get near that
