I want to buy it where I live (Portugal), and tomorrow I was planning on using a VPN to change my location to New Zealand and play Ori and the Will of the Wisps a few hours early. I was reading up on the matter and apparently it didn't carry over? (could be a mistake).
Will my plan work? It has worked with EA Origin Access and Steam games, but I have no idea how the Xbox app works.

yep upto the Publishers, PC GP was made to have no restrictions so any publisher could put a game onto service without having XboxLive features with it being in Beta still they just wanted games to be played.

PC doesn't work quite like home console. I think you have to be signed into the Store app on the owning account. Then you can separately sign in to the game using your Xbox Live account. But I haven't done it myself, so my description may not be accurate.

Anyone familiar with FF XV memory leak issue? I go the xbox game pass version over steam because it doesn't suffer from the basically game breaking combat stutter, BUT after playing for maybe 30m to 60m i start to get consistent stutter, ive heard that increasing page file helps with this... but i can't do that on my SSD because after a fresh install of FF XV i only have 15gb left, so i set up like a crazy 150gb paging file on my HHD but i really don't think FF XV is using that at all, after an hour of play my HHD space remains unchanged.
im going to try and set up a 10gb page file on my SSD but i feel that won't be nearly enough as i heard the leak happens after 60gb of the page file is used... maybe im totally misinformed and confused but for now ill test a 10gb page file on my SSD

yeah i always play with headphones and the first thing i noticed is how well the voices are done
usually if i keep getting spammed with unneeded dialogue i just mute the voice lines but this game makes them annoying on purpose but i still want to hear what they have to say lol

the combat and puzzles aren't amazing but they're done well enough to still be enjoyable
the puzzles are just there to get you to explore the environment which i absolutely don't mind doing cos it's so heckin mesmerising with all the weird effects

Hey'all, im playing FFXV with the pass + playing with a controller. But by default, the game is set on keyboard-mouse. That means everytime i'm pressing a button on my controller, it works but it switches from keyboard to controller creating a micro freeze

The game will remain installed, but you will not be able to play it unless you choose to buy it.
Otherwise people would pay $1 for the first month of Game Pass, then cancel and have 200+ games to keep playing.
