So for PC its supposed to be via the Xbox App not the Xbox Console Companion. I followed the link from the PC Gamer article about it and went from there. Got the app but can't install it. I think you have to register as a Windows Insider first then it will let you install it since its in beta. That's what I am doing now.

@slow sparrow Game Pass Ultimate is a steal. Basically, it combines your existing Xbox Live Gold membership into Game Pass. So for example, before I bought Ultimate, my Gold membership expired in April 2020. After I bought the Ultimate for $1 today, it extended my gold to May 2020 and made it to where I would have Game Pass until May 2020 as well, all for $1.

Other titles include Gears of War, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, etc. There’s not a lot on the list currently but I expect it to grow over time.

Some of them definitely do have achievements for PC game pass (Surviving Mars, Rise of the Tomb Raider, etc), and those are separate achievement lists than the Xbox One version
Some will share an achievement list with the Xbox One version (Forza Horizon 4, Gears 4, etc), and some may not have achievements at all

well like ark, its base game and rag is free. if you wanted to do other maps you probably have to pay for the dlc. so if you never would have bought ark, but now you are playing it cause of pass, and then decide to get some maps, thats extra revenue they wouldnt have seen if you never played the base ark game

If you just want an overall list of games on game pass, but also includes the majority of Xbox games which won't run on Windows, then I think you can see that through the Windows Store app by going to the updates page. Should be a tab on the left hand side.
