people with 0 gamerscore exist on xbox and they play all day and have loads of fun

I would argue someone who has gotten the full 1K for Dark Souls 1, 2, and 3 is pretty elite, and they may only have 3K gamerscore. Gamerscore doesn't make you elite. But if you really want to play that game, I can guarantee you that you aren't anywhere close to the gamerscore that people on this server have 😉

There's a special playlist on the 7th of every month. You have to play that playlist on the 7th and gain 7 xp.
You have to be in the top 3 to gain a point. So it depends a little on skill and how well you do in the matches.

Just got an achievement for the first time in a long time in the Xbox 360 version of good ol’ Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary! The last time I got an achievement in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary for the Xbox 360 was on March 21st, 2015, almost 5 years ago. Jeez, time just flies when you’re having fun!
And the achievement I just got in it was Walk It Off - 25 G: Complete the level of “Pillar of Autumn” on Legendary without picking up a health kit.

And I remember that day so vividly because I was so excited to get it because prior to that day, I had never, but always wanted to, play the first Halo, Halo: Combat Evolved, so I was lucky to have my uncle come with me to my local GameStop and get it. I also had to hide it from my brother, too! Ah 🤣good times!
@pearl mango you’re definitely right about that. But when I first got the game, I was about 11 at the time, so I was very hesitant to play the legendary difficulty because I wasn’t that great at it and I would always die.
But now, I’m older, and way better at the game now than I was 8 years ago. It’s weird, but when I get older, I get better usually at games that I once wasn’t all that great at.

Yeah, trueachievements is the perfect site to find that kind of info. Everything you need to know about each game is on the right under game info. If you can't find the game, it means it's not Xbox Live enabled. That's how I check.
The devs do sometimes add achievements at a later date. It's happened a few times with pc games on game pass.

Just downloaded the free game of the month, Joy Ride Turbo for the Xbox 360 and its a great game! Just got my first achievement in it called Flex Those Muscles 10 G - You completed a Muscle-Only Series. And I highly recommend this game because it’s a fun Xbox 360 Arcade title! You get to drive as your avatar! It’s awesome, love the throwback to when you could play as your avatar in some Xbox Arcade games back on the 360 in games like Motocross Madness and Doritos Crash Course and Doritos Crash Course 2, and even some indie games as well.

@coarse fiber I think the developer of Where the Water Tastes Like Wine may have tried to screw people over again on console.
If you look at TA (https://www.trueachievements.com/game/Where-the-Water-Tastes-Like-Wine/achievements) it says there's 38 achievements for 1,050 gamerscore.
The achievement that was unobtainable on PC is worth 50GS.
But, if you look at the achievement list on the console or iOS app, it says there's 37 achievements worth 1,000 gamerscore.
The achievement that was unobtainable on PC does not exist on that list.
Either that or it's a last minute alteration that somehow hasn't been reflected on TA. I've tweeted the developer/publisher to ask.

So far two achievements on TA haven't been unlocked. One of them can be unlocked on PC but is buggy, so not sure if it's broken on Xbox or just hard to get. The other is this mysterious achievement that only seems to exist on TA and not on the console achievement list.
There's some weird stuff going on with this game and after seeing the developer saying that 'sadly Xbox wouldn't let them' use the unobtainable achievement, I wouldn't be surprised if they've rigged something.

I got that one by replaying levels. I made sure the window wasn't shot and jumped through. Forgot what level I did it on. I think it was level 6 or 7. There's like 3-4 windows if I'm not mistaken.
I did the same with kicking enemies. I found a section with 5-6 guys. I kicked them all, but made sure one guy was alive to kill me. It respawned me at the same spot and kept repeating till the achievement popped.

There were some challenges that made use of the TA ratio, getting achievements above a 3.0, or each achievement with a higher ratio than the previous one.
There will likely be some kind of spelling related challenge, or one for achievements containing certain letters.

The issue isn't with achievements not unlocking, it's unlocking the game itself.

With GFWL down, you need a key to unlock the games. With some games the native install doesn't unlock it, so you need to use a key obtained from a different game, as the validation just checks that there's a valid GFWL key, not a key that matches that exact game.

One of the games I bought years ago was the Steam version of Dark Void. I only unlocked a few achievements. It doesn't support GFWL anymore. Mad at myself for never finishing it. I finished the 360 version.

They did a Bioshock 2 remaster with controller support, but it's not gfwl. Only Steam achievements.
I got it for free for buying the original Bioshock 2 on Steam.

Decided to buy Fallout 3 off of cdkeys since it was cheap...started it up on steam after I downloaded...and it oh so nicely restarted my pc without asking me. Hopefully I can get the achievement stuff working. If not...I can mod the game at least

I got the 100% completion from the goty version, but that was back in '10. That was the only way to get the full 1,550.

I'm trying to finish the original Win 8 version of Sudoku before it updates to the new version.
One achievement left for finishing 100 puzzles, but only done 36 so far.
I'm not in the mood for doing another 64 puzzles tonight, but there are several comments in the solutions that the game has a habit of losing progress, so they recommend doing it in one sitting.

For some reason I can't get the new version to be installed on my Surface. It keeps installing the Win 8 version.
I also got it wrong about the achievements. I thought I had one left, but forgot all about the daily challenge stuff and the irregular puzzles. So that was several hours spent chasing a completion that's a much longer way off.
