Hi. I usually go guardian for PvP. I have been trying out Tooth and Claw in PvE so far instead of Rend and Tear like I had been using before patch. My question is, if using rend and tear, would you suggest stacking haste now, instead of mastery? Or, would you suggest still using Rend and Tear? If so, why?

I've been trying out guardian in rated BGs (if you can call it that atm) so things may differ if you're playing it for other stuff. Rend and Tear is better for that as you don't really have the time/rage to damage since you're dumping it into frenzied regen/ironfur so keeping the damage debuff on everyone with the thrash AOE proves more beneficial. For stats it's versa>mastery for me since my ability to do damage isn't really a factor. If you're doing random/casual PvP I'd probably go with Tooth and Claw since Maul is hitting quite hard at the moment and it seems to proc fairly often. For solo world PvP like you've mentioned, if you're attacking small amounts of people / solo players then I'd definitely take Tooth and Claw since you can pretty much consistently hit them with the 15% debuff.
But I don't play guardian out of RBG so that would just be an assumption from the short amount of testing I did

Haste is a good offensive stat but if you're doing solo world pvp where you're relying on your own survivability you'll get more benefit from mastery or versa since you're benefitting in both survivability and dps
I feel like haste would be too squishy

@subtle pine They tried to make it a thing in Legion and it got a lot of backlash from the PvP community so went back on it. Elite sets IMO should stay in the season they were earned in as a lot of the cool factor comes from them being rare/unobtainable. I have a fair few that barely anyone has at this point and it would sorta suck if people ran around with sets from seasons they didn't play. One of the only reasons I bothered pushing 2.2+ in the last couple of expacs was to grab the elite sets whilst I could, and I know many who are the same.

@safe flame vitality conduit, conflict, n spirit of preservation are all pretty much lock ins. Other than that I've been experimenting with crucible minor since its busted for a lot of specs since prepatch apparently, like 11% of my healing some games.

@slate prairie overgrowth becoming a base talent and clone baseline freed up a lot of slots, only real lock in is focused growth and I've been using high winds every game too. Everything else is comp dependent.
Thorns / resin for melee cleaves, mark of the wild for destros/ boomies/ surv/ purges.

Damage patterns/ cc setups are much more suitable for swarm than convoke yea. Not than convoke is bad it tops your whole team presumably, just on a 2 minute cd.
Swarm is just more reliable, on a shorter cd, and un-interruptable. Not to mention the outplay potential of fleshcraft cc immune soulbind. @hazy shale

@coral sandal we pair well with sub rogue, and shadow priest/afflic lock. Also saw Arms warrior might be okay for the front line. We definitely arent top contenders, but in my personal opinion, i think this will be the most shine boomy gets in 3s
