Playing Sabertooth (which I realise is changing in SL)

with Sabertooth you should then be good for some time

Cause it will be refreshed anyway

But yhea ideally on opening RAKE RIP FF BITE

Or if you play BT you can still RAKE RIP BS BS BS and if you have lucky proc go to 4/5cp and bte

I've started watching some of Corkiri's SL beta vods in 3v3 arena. He's playing with a rogue but it definitely doesn't seem like HOTW legendary will be necessary. So much survivability. His rogue is the one that dies 90% of the time when they lose. The only deaths I saw him take he clearly made mistakes cause he's uncomfortable with shadowlands and beta.

Generally a good guide.

Although I have some doubts on twin moon pick. Stellar drift sims like a viable option as well since SF does decent dmg now and also provides you with ability to cast while moving. Also you have to be extra careful with spreading dots now as incap roar is not cleansing those.
First raw is not that certain anymore also. Since NB generation was nerfed WoE is looks competitive since staying in Eclipse is vital nowadays.
In the last raw I can also see FoE as a contender since it does good damage, generates enough AP for another SS and aligns well with the root/beam timing (I get that AoE aspect is undesirable but if you use it during follow-up cyclone instead of root-beam it still can be ok). I am inclined to agree though that on this row Soltice will be a winner.

As for legendaries I feel that BoAT and Pulsar can also be contenders depending on final tunning as both provide steady burst windows. It all depends on how the damage is tunned for the spec and PvP in general.

Finally I am not sure how I feel about Renewal vs Charge choice. It seems that combined with Incap Road the latter becomes even more attractive than atm...

@fair zinc I'm also intrigued by and feel the starfall playstyle could have a place. I tested in beta single target damage of starfall while talented and it was only a little bit less than starsurge. So if you think about the aoe damage it can get intense.

The downside is its 20 astral more and starsurge gives you and your healer (and your other dps if they are a spellcaster) crit chance if you have the pvp talent. Crit chance on top of the 10% moonfury damage also = more spread pressure. So that's not exactly math I can do in my head but you can see how starsurge could end up being more pressure on the enemy team overall. Hard to say but worth trying starfall I think.

While I can see how BoAT and pulsar can have some decent burst windows its really hard to argue against circle. Circle is simming nearly as good as BoAT and better than pulsar in a pve setting. In a pvp setting its really easy to take advantage of the value of circle while BoAT and pulsar will be going off much less compared to PvE settings. The total damage is very far in favor of circle. You'll have to get a lot of value out of those burst windows to beat circle imo.

Also about Wild Charge and renewal. I thought the same thing about the value of charge going up with incap roar but after watching corkiri vods it didn't seem hard to get incap roar off on the enemy healer without charge at all. With that said he still took charge sometimes. I think with kyrian potion + how tanky moonkin is anyways it could end up being the better option. Especially if you are in a comp where your partner will be more easily the focus target. I think thats why incap roar was easy to get off on the healer. Moonkin is tanky and not the focus target often so you can play way up in the enemy healers space.

I'm also interested in how good necrolords could end up being for moonkin. With emeni you can get a 15% int buff for 10s every time you cast adaptive swarm. And with circle legendary scaling up your dots maybe adaptive swarm every 25s = pretty good.

Looks like it'll be hard to beat Kyrian though.

@worthy field I agree that Circle is a go to in a long run (if we are not forced into the PvP legendary via survivability or strict limitation). However as things are looking now in beta (and those looking WILD... it really cant go live like this ppl just get blow up here and there) we can be looking at very bursty season 1 where 3 crit SS into stunned target can literally send it home. So depending on comp I can see the burst legendaries prevail. Ofc if you play affli+moonkin you want circle. Moreover you might wanna play neclords+starfall (imho starfall is again a viable choice here thanks to high multitraget pressure, it also currently benefits from Adaptive swarm just as dots do, leave alone added benefits of dots extension and casting while moving). But with say rogue/hunter you might just go for the burst legendaries.

I would be careful making conclusions based on Corkiri videos from beta. It is just skirmishes, hence you cant say how good are players he faced (or even if they are play the class they know well for that matter). Moreover its very likely that ppl are unaware of moonkin changes and have not adapted to incap roar. I would expect it will be harder to land when ppl know you have it and see that you are closing the distance for it.

As for the Neclord intellect buff I am pretty sure Blizz will balance it either tying its duration to the ability cooldown or via adding some cooldown on it (i.e. cant proc more often than say 1 min). Otherwise it will be massively unbalanced in PvE for different specs. Fear on surrounding enemies when reduced below 20% looks can be useful as well as 5% health buff. So in general Emeni looks promising I would say.

Anyway its all just speculations at the moment. Maybe soulbinds and legendaries will end up banned or watered down in arena... who knows. Current state of beta cries for changes because damage + HP combination is not looking healthy, like at all.
