Base mastery being 12.32% base as well as ~470 from cloak and necklace (I brought it up to 500 for simplicity sake), and base versa being 8 stacks of strife (500 for simplicity sake).
Player A with full mastery in this case would take 164% of the base damage by player B with full vers, while player B would take 168% of the base damage by player A.

So I'd say it's still better to stack versa

Because it affects damage by claw

And minor essence procs like lethal strikes

But if you're going full meme starsurge dam with worldvein or lucid major and badge/medallion

Mastery stacking would give you decidedly stronger surges

Or you could run even lower vers but have higher haste

Not sure what the sweet spot is

Hasted proc rate will be 4*haste, and vers is a flat damage anyway

So if you have 20% haste and 20% vers, it'll hit 20% harder and proc 20% more often

When playing with a lock (boo, evil I know but I don’t have much vers so it’s nice playing with a partner they have to focus instead of me), what do you do when the other team literally just pillars and pillars and pillars till they get CDs then try to kill them pillar, pillar etc.

We found we couldn’t quite score a kill when they made their attempts and eventually in deep dampening they killed my lock

Very risky for me to follow round the pillar to try stop them getting a full reset, they could very easily swap to me so I prefer to try keep my lock between them and me, but if I don’t go offensive, he can’t keep them locked down long enough to score a kill

Track the enemy dispel to maximize your claw uptime. Save it for pressure if your DPS is ready to go.

Just buy some water from the innkeep unless you're queueing with a mage. Should be fine.

the main thing is to be proactive about your active mana conservation. Don't wait until you're at about 30% mana to start drinking or using innervate -- your enemies will be looking for you to drink sub 50% mana and trying more aggressively to stop it.

the more you slip away in prowl throughout the match, the less likely they'll notice you drinking instead.
