What happened to German Eurofighters and Tornados? | Official ADS-B Exchange Group | Page 1

In late 2024 and first weeks of 2025 more and more German Tornados and Eurofighters were visible by registration number and proper aircraft icons on map. By now they disapeared and they only show as some general military aircraft. No type code, no registration number, no type specific icon. What happened?

i think some of these got removed from mictronics database recently because they are tactical hex codes. basically they are hex codes not assigned to a specific aircraft but ended up in the database.

so one day one aircraft could use that code then the next day it could be used on another, potentially even another type. they are not fixed to a specific type or aircraft
