So the api is not showing the alt_baro while the airplane is on the ground. Only shows when the airplane takes off then the field appear in the return of the api with the altitude but while on the ground it is now showing. Did anything change?

Not sure if anything changed with the API, but I think altitude is not tracked when an aircraft is considered to be on the ground - you'll see "ground" or "on ground" on the globe map.

The answer in the json file for alt_baro while the airplane was in the ground used to be an str saying “ground”. Not that key in the json file is completely gone if the airplane is on the ground. As soon as it takes off alt_baro appears with an int displaying the airplane altitude.
