Is it gonna auto-update or is it manual download and patching every time?
Cuz if I'm being honest i can't afford to pay every month and I've heard you get to keep the game after cancelling the patreon

the beta has started to be released to patreon members (12/9); all the vexos and top-brawlers tier subscribers have been given access, and over the coming weeks the battle-brawler tier subscribers will be given access to the game.

there is currently no scheduled release date for the finished game, which will be free for everyone to play, but it will likely be after all testing is concluded and bugs are ironed out.
