#Convert the training train to PVE mode ?

However, it's true that on DayZ for exemple I'm very happy to have my own private server with a password.
devs have already stated they aren't going into pve making even a half decent pve mode is way more effort then its worth
Damn thats unfortunate, oh well
The point of my suggestion (I deleted the original post because it wasn't formatted well enough) is simply to make the training mode a standalone mode.
to make some kind of progression possible in this way, in a way, I don't know what's planned next
like the tutorial train? im pretty sure that's up 24/7 or at least should be but you shouldn't progress there
dont want people sitting there grinding for like 3 hours just to get a totally new experience upon joining a real train
I'll leave the thread open, let's see what the devs think.
I'd prefer making the early stages of the train safer & harder to access for progressing players over separating it. Loads of games (LoL the main ofender) do this whole "here's 4 or 5 really easy games... Then you'll be in PVP with smurfs who'll flame you, enjoy".
I'd keep progression with main trains and leave the tutorial train as just that - a tutorial
We have a "practice train" with bots, which we are working on making available again. We are also planning matchmaking appliciations which should not throw new players directly with great white sharks. There is a catch 22 to it becauce we need more players for it (any it's harder to get them because new players swim with experienced predators)
Note that my idea was just one among many; do you have any idea how the potential "rented" private servers will work?
And, last question, what do you plan to do for the training train (which for me is a small PvE mode)?
I know Enginefall is a PvP game, but I like the unique environment of the train itself, and I'm not really a fan of PvP, hence my suggestion.
I've only been doing the training train since it appeared, waiting for what comes next
There will be marauder trains which are player build and upgraded. These will be subjected to pvp loops. There will be in the future also an option for completely private player paid servers where you can have your own rules.
That's fine for me for now.
In the future, an option to disable PvP in certain wagons would be welcome for future private servers.
But with the marauder trains coming in you might find people you can work with. They give you protection, you will care for the train 🙂
